I have a special mission – to help lawyers become CEOs. As lawyers, we are told that you must have years and years of experience before going on our own. And it’s just not true. I started my own virtual law firm in 2015 with virtually no experience working as an associate.

Merlyne Jean-Louis is a business and entertainment lawyer whose clientele includes entrepreneurs, content creators, small businesses, and creatives. She has been running her multi six-figure virtual law firm, Jean-Louis Law, since 2015. She has perfected her client onboarding process after speaking with over 400 potential clients and getting plenty more into her funnel.
Merlyne is a graduate of Duke Law School and NYU who is admitted to practice in New York and California. She is also a legal commentator who has discussed intellectual property and business law on Bloomberg, CBS, The Verge, and Fast Company.
